The Church.co.uk is the church situated in Lambeth North. They have developed an Older Persons Befriending Service to reduce social isolation for older people in this area through contact and friendship.

Volunteer befrienders visit their befriendee once a week, normally for a cup of tea and a chat which means so much to an older person living alone. Training is provided for the volunteer to help them with this role along with the opportunity to network and socialise with other volunteers.
