Funky bar restaurant Cubana has pledged to celebrate the release of Hollywood film One Day by offering customers a taste-tastic 2 for 1 deal on Mojitos.

One Day is based on the best-selling book of the same name by David Nicholls, and was released in London cinemas on Wednesday, August 24.

The Cuban venue was among Waterloo locations which were used as film sets for the romance, which stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, in July last year.

The Lower Marsh restaurant doubles up as Mexican eaterie Loco Caliente in the movie, in which lead character Emma Morley works as a waitress.

To mark the release any customer who brings in a copy of the book or a One Day cinema ticket can get two Mojitos for the price of one (one discount per ticket/book).

The deal will last until the end of September and is valid for glasses of the cocktail but not jugs.
