| Vintage Scooter Rally Arrives in Lower Marsh |
|
Over 120 vintage scooters appeared on Lower Marsh on 23rd July in the finale of a ride-out that delighted scooter enthusiasts, residents and visitors alike. The ‘Scoot the Thames’ event was organised by Bob Morris a local scooter enthusiast with a passion for Lower Marsh, who wanted to use the event to bring more people to the area.

A prize draw of £200 of clothes donated from fashion designer Ben Sherman was presented at the end of the day. James Pears, owner of Café del Marsh, said: ‘The event was great and brought a lot of people to Lower Marsh. I wouldn’t mind seeing it repeated every Saturday!’ Head to Lower Marsh around 2pm on September 10th to see the scooters arrive back from their next ride-out.
