The Oasis Trust proved triumphant in Waterloo Quarter’s first five-a-side football tournament.

Their young, skilful team proved too much for Viewpoint Field Services in a closely fought final in Great Suffolk Street.

Teams from Hays Pharma, Giovanni Rana, Eden Caterers, Black Architecture, The Fostering Network and HKR Architects also took part in lunchtime games during the competition, which was organised as part of the BID’s Packed Lunch programme.

The tournament took place over a week in June and raised £270 for local good cause Hub Athletic, which aims to engage young people through football.

The money will help finance the team's work with deprived children in South Africa.
