NOMINATIONS for the CWT everywoman in Technology awards are now open.

Just 23 per cent of the 1.2million people employed in IT in the UK are female, and everywoman aims to demonstrate the wealth of career opportunities available to women in this profession.

A full list of categories for the awards can be found at www.everywoman.com and nominations are open until January 7th.

everywoman co-founder Maxine Benson MBE said the awards would demonstrate the variety of IT opportunities available to women.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on March 22nd.
