WATERLOO Quarter BID would like to wish all local businesses and their employees a very Happy Christmas.
The BID team worked in conjunction with several local companies and organisations to put on an evening of festive fun on Thursday, December 9th.
The cast of Pinkalicious The Musical, from Waterloo East Theatre in Brad Street, switched on the second of the BID’s Christmas trees in Baylis Road before demonstrating their singing talents.
A brass band also belted out Christmas favourites and Cubana kindly donated mulled wine.
Street entertainers mixed with passers-by at the snow machine outside Waterloo Action Centre and late night discounted shopping, market stalls, roasted chestnuts and the sounds of guitar duo Husky George also added to the flavour of the event along Lower Marsh.
At the same time carol singers entertained well wishers as mince pies and hot chocolate were handed out outside the Hub Coffee House in Westminster Bridge Road.
The BID team would like to thank all of the retailers and volunteers who helped out before and during the event, and wish the whole of Waterloo a Happy New Year.
