Do you fancy learning how to decipher poetry for free?
Waterloo Quarter BID and The Poetry School have teamed up to create free workshops on National Poetry Day, Thursday, October 7. Bright young poets Joe Dunthorne and Heather Phillipson will recite some of their work and will give tips on how to enjoy and analyse verse during two sessions. The sessions will run from midday to 2pm at the 1901 Arts Club in Exton Street, and are open to any employees of Waterloo Quarter BID businesses. Places are limited, so if you are interested in attending contact Maris Puks as soon as possible on mpuks@waterlooquarter.org or call 020 7620 1201. ++ The poetry event has been organised as part of Waterloo Quarter BID's Packed Lunch scheme, which is funded by the Department of Work and Pensions.
