The Fostering Network is offering places on a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro using the following text to entice prospective climbers.
On day one your team sets off from dense, muddy rainforest.
By day two, you’re crossing high moorland with crisp views and mountain caves in which you pass the night.
On day three you notice the altitude. You’re higher, walking is harder, the land is desolate, glaciated, and scree crunches underfoot.
Day four? Moonscape. You rise at midnight and trek hard to see the sun rise over the crater lip, ice cliffs all around and your destination, Uhuru Peak, just an hour away.
Will your team make it before the scorching sun makes trekking impossible?
