The BID also provides a General Waste collection scheme for all non-recyclable items. This scheme aims to save you money by offering a £1 per bag collection charge, rather than banded price rates that are often used by waste collection services.

The general waste is taken to a combustion site where the rubbish is burned using new technologies to produce energy for the national grid, avoiding the need to add to the ever growing landfill sites.

To sign up to any of the above schemes go to Recycling Registration.
