Workplace Health

Waterloo Quarter BID supports several workplace health initiatives.

Workplaces play a key role in promoting and supporting the health of adults in London. A healthy workplace is also good for business, resulting in a more productive and engaged workforce and reduced staff turnover. It is also good for national and local economies; with working age ill health estimated to cost the UK in excess of £100bn per year. The London School of Economics found that promoting wellbeing in the workplace gives a return on investment of £9 for every £1 spent.

There is lots of work going on in SE1 to support local businesses in promoting workplace health. The database below can point you in the right direction on most issues you may come across and the interactive map can help you find out what is available near your office.
