Join us on Thursday 6th December for Waterloo Quarter’s Christmas celebrations in Emma Cons Gardens. Festivities will be kicking off from 5pm and will include the Christmas tree lights switch-on, live entertainment from oompah band The Bavarian Strollers, carol singing with the Children’s Country Holidays Fund and food & drink stalls.
In the lead up to the celebrations to coincide with the Old Vic’s Cinderella pantomime, a Hunt the Glass Slipper competition has been taking place with an impressive prize at stake - a family ticket to the Old Vic theatre’s community day and pantomime performance in January. Eight glass slippers have been hidden in the windows of businesses located along The Cut and Lower Marsh and competition sheets distributed to primary schools around the Waterloo area. Entries are now flooding in and the winner will be announced at the event on the 6th.
