There is an opportunity for businesses to get involved in this year’s Enterprise Week, organised by Lambeth Council with the aim of promotingself employment as a viable career option and to encourage young people to network and to exploit their creativity and ideas. Events will be taking place including speed networking, successful young entrepreneurs as guest speakers and a ‘Masterclass’ in enterprise along with smaller, sector specific workshops throughout the week.
The organisers are looking for local businesses who would be interested in sparing 2-3 hours to deliver a workshop to a small group of students aged from 14 to 18 about their business(what they do, how they started, challenges, successes, tips, practical demonstrations etc). The workshops are between 9.30 – 12.30 or 1.30 – 3.30 on any day that suits the business between Monday 17 and Friday 21 November. Ideally the business premises would be the venue and if possible include some kind of interactive/practical element.
