Board Directors and business representatives from the BID joined staff at the Waterloo Quarter AGM in September. Current Chairman, John Rushton from Wootton Street-based company Small Back Room, welcomed new members and Board Directors and recapped on the highlights from the BID over the last year.
The event was hosted by Metro Safety, a fire and health & safety specialists based in Blackfriars Road. After official business was completed, the guests moved to Metro’s roof terrace to enjoy a drink and the view, as well as meet and catch up with fellow business representatives in the area.
All businesses in the BID area have the opportunity to become official members of the BID which enables them to attend and vote at AGMs – it is your opportunity to have your say in how your BID levy money is spent. BID membership does not incur any extra financial costs in addition to the initial levy payment and we welcome and encourage representatives from all lines of business to get involved.
