One of the grand old pubs of Southwark. The Crown is a
modern, comfortable gastro style pub. 2 minutes form southwark and 5 minutes
from London Waterloo.
The open theatre kitchen ( open 12 - 3pm , 5 - 9pm),
serves traditional british pub meals, snacks and platters as well as american
style grills.
A large wine and beer list is topped with 3 real ales
from smaller regional breweries.
The upstairs function room is an ideal place for
meetings, functions and small parties.
The Crown has one of the best gardens in the area and
is a great sun trap in summer and covered with a marquee in winter.
The garden has seating for 70 and room for plenty more
standing.
The Crown is avaliable for private hire Saturday -
Thursdays and can accomodate up to 200 people.
