The Juice Brewery was formed after Neville Portelli and Greg Watson, directors of branding agency Underground BLC, spotted a gap in the market for an adult soft drink.

The brewery's creation WP Hopper was officially launched in March 2009, and was named most innovative idea at the International Food and Drink Exhibition in same year.

Hopper is the world's first Soft Brew, and looks like a beer when it is poured despite having no alcohol content.
