HELEN Santer, Waterloo Quarter Director of Operations, was among the guest speakers at a New London Architecture (NLA) event at the Coin Street Community Centre.

NLA on Location: Waterloo gave delegates from some of Britain’s top property and architectural companies a briefing on the current situation in Waterloo.

The shortage of local office space and the planned development of Elizabeth House, to the north west of Waterloo Station, were among the items discussed at the conference on Tuesday, May 24.

A separate event hosted by fwdesign in Exton Street saw architects from BID levy paying companies network and have their say about a forthcoming report by the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment (PFBE) about the future development of Waterloo.

fwdesign joined the BID following the renewal in February and specialise in wayfinding, information graphics and product design skills.
