Soho Gyms started in Covent Garden in 1994, and we now have six gyms in London.” Why did you choose Brad Street? “The railway arch we are based in is gorgeous. We have all natural light here, and it’s really airy.” Describe the business? “We are a friendly gym which provides affordable urban fitness in an upbeat and fun environment.” How many people do you employ? “We typically have between 15-20 staff working out of this gym at any one time.” How many members do you have? “We have just over 1,600 members in Waterloo, but there are never any queues for our equipment because we have so much of it.” What sets you apart from other gyms? “We are famous for our exercise classes. We were one of the first gyms in London to start Zumba classes and we recently had Glee and Spartacus themed workouts.” Anything else? “We have regular DJ nights. We find it gives people extra motivation for their workout.” Why do you members like Soho Gyms? “We run a range of perks for members which include discounts at a range of businesses.
