| Apply For A Lower Marsh Film Panel Grant |
A NEW small grants fund for projects which are designed to benefit Lower Marsh has been launched. Several production companies have filmed scenes in Lower Marsh in recent years because of it’s distinctive look. Recent filming has included TV adverts and forthcoming Hollywood movie One Day. Some film production companies who have used Lower Marsh have chosen to make goodwill payments to be spent for the benefit of the street. The Lower Marsh Film Panel will allocate that money to groups who can provide appropriate projects. Grants of between £500 and £1,000 are encouraged, and projects should meet one or more of the following objectives: - Foster community spirit Full guidance on applications is available here. The panel is made up of business and residential representatives, and grants will be administered through Waterloo Quarter BID from Friday, April 15th. The deadline for grant applications is 5pm on Monday, April 4.
