THE Young Vic played host to a breakfast networking event which also acted as the official launch of Waterloo Quarter BID’s renewal ballot period.

Attendees at the event on Tuesday, January 25th, heard from Rose McArthur, of the Olympic Delivery Authority, who warned Waterloo firms to be ready for “business as unusual” when The Games arrive in London in 2012.

Yair Ginor from Chelsfield Partners LLP updated on plans to redevelop Elizabeth House to the north west of Waterloo station, while Southwark Council leader Peter John and Lambeth Councillor for enterprise Sally Prentice also spoke of their support for the BID.

Businesses have until 5pm on February 24th to return their ballot papers.
