Vote Yes For Better Business

IT IS nearly time for you to have your say on the future of Waterloo.

All existing BID businesses and businesses within a proposed extension zone will shortly receive ballot papers which will ask them to vote for or against a five-year continuation of Waterloo Quarter BID.

If the BID is renewed your company will continue to benefit from BID services including recycling collections, additional street cleaning and promotional events.

The BID will also help businesses prepare for opportunities presented by the London 2012 Olympics and major new developments in Waterloo if a yes vote is carried.

But if a no vote is carried all BID services will cease.

Several local businesses have already pledged their support to the BID, and the BID team will this month be approaching you or a colleague to ask you to vote yes to the proposed renewal.

Among those happy to endorse the BID is Alex Reeves of Berkeley Residential, who said: “Being in the BID helps us to recruit team members. That's why we'll be voting yes."

++ It is important you have all the information to hand which you need to make a decision about the BID’s renewal.
