Renewal Proposal Launched

Waterloo Quarter Reveals Plans For The Next Five Years.

Waterloo Quarter has set out its vision for Waterloo and the services it will provide should businesses vote for a five year continuation of the BID.

In February next year all BID levy paying businesses will have the chance to vote to keep Waterloo Quarter running.

If there is a yes vote existing Waterloo Quarter services such as recycling collections and events will continue, while new services will be added.

A no vote would see services like recycling, company promotion and additional street cleaning end.

The BID team has outlined its plan for a renewed BID term in a 16 page booklet entitled It's Your Waterloo. Be Part Of It.

The booklet was created by Short Street designers Strudel and includes frequently asked questions and financial sections as well as a selection of pledges for the area under the headings Celebrate & Promote, Represent, Connect and Enhance.

BID Director of Operations Helen Santer said: “We are enormously proud of what we have achieved so far, and urge all businesses to vote for a renewed BID and a better Waterloo in February.”
