Trodden-in chewing gum and deep lying stains will all disappear during a week of cleaning on Waterloo’s main thoroughfares.

We have once again commissioned contractors Gumclear to clean 10 main routes used by thousands of people each day.

Lower Marsh, The Cut, Blackfriars Road, Waterloo Road, Westminster Bridge Road, Kennington Road, Valentine Place, Webber Street, Cornwall Road and Baylis Road will all be visited in the week beginning Monday, September 20.

Businesses based on these roads will be informed of the exact days when work will take place outside their company in advance.

The streets were previously cleaned six months ago as part of the Waterloo Quarter BID pledge to make the area a more pleasant place to visit and live and work in.
