Waterloo Quarter BID wants to hear your views. All businesses which pay Waterloo Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) levies have been invited to have their say on the initiative. The Waterloo Quarter BID began life in 2006. It is funded by more than 300 businesses within the BID area, and exists purely to represent and provide services to those businesses while promoting the area. In February 2011 all levy paying businesses will have the opportunity to vote on whether to continue the initiative for another five years. Before the vote takes place the Waterloo Quarter BID team will produce a proposal on its plans for the area if it is re-elected. As such, the BID team is keen to hear feedback on existing services and projects and comments on what initiatives businesses would like us to introduce and prioritise over the next five years. An Internet consultation survey has been set up, which can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6C9X3QG Businesses can also arrange a face-to-face consultation by calling George Hamilton on 020 7620 1306 or emailing ghamilton@waterlooquarter.org Waterloo Quarter BID director of operations Helen Santer said: “This consultation survey will help determine how the BID team works for local businesses across the next half-decade, and as such it is vital we receive as much feedback as possible.”
