Businesses who would like to recruit locally and free of charge have been urged to take advantage of a new jobs scheme.

Waterloo Quarter BID has joined forces with fellow BIDs Better Bankside and Team London Bridge to create the new employment initiative in SE1.

The Southwark Council-commissioned scheme will link companies with local job agencies which can provide them with hardworking local candidates for free.
