Creative In-Tent - drop in for art classes with a difference

Take a lunch break with a difference on Millennium Green (next to the Old Vic) and get creative with guest artist and facilitator Tim Redfern.

In the run up to the Waterloo Carnival, Tim and his fellow helpers will be encouraging you to re-create a jungle scene using paints, pastels and possibly a few pipe-cleaners.

The finished pictures will all be entered into a competition to win a bottle of bubbly, with the winner due to be announced at the jungle Cabaret evening at the Waterloo Carnival on 16th July.

The events will take place from 12.30-2.30pm on

  • Tuesday 29th June
  • Tuesday 6th July
  • Tuesday 13th July

All are welcome. No need to book - the sessions are drop-in. No artistic skill or experience is required! The finished artwork can be viewed at www.facebook.com/waterloocarnival

The sessions are being delivered by Waterloo Quarter BID through its 'Packed Lunch' project in association with the Friends of Waterloo Carnival. The Packed Lunch project has been made possible by funding from the DWP and aims to improve workplace well-being and encourage people to improve their work-life balance.
