Table Football Winners 2010

It was an all-Symbian final in the first ever Waterloo table football World Cup on Friday 18th June, as England sailed to a 5-1 victory against New Zealand.

Showing altogether more finishing skill than Capello's boys, it was an easy victory in the end after closely-fought matches for all teams in the heats.

Teams from local businesses came together for the tournament final after a week of free table football that was open to all members of the community opposite the Old Vic on Emma Cons Gardens.

The tournament was supported by funding from the DWP, as part of Waterloo Quarter's 'Packed Lunch' project which aims to promote well-being in the workplace and beat work-related stress by encouraging local employees to take a break during the working day.
