| Waterloo Road Resurfacing Works |

Lambeth Council will be undertaking re-surfacing works on Waterloo Road, starting on Monday 15th March. This is much needed work to repair potholes, cracks and gullies and will take approximately two weeks. ![]()
Work will take place in the evening from 8pm and will continue until approximately 1.30 am.
During the works, sections of either the northbound or southbound carriageway of Waterloo Road, from the Imax to the Old Vic, will be closed and traffic diverted onto the other side of the road. However at no time will the whole road be closed at once. Bus stops on these sections will also be closed while the works are in progress; however will be open again in the morning.
Vehicles will also be prevented from entering or exiting side roads off the closed sections of Waterloo Road. These roads include; Alaska Street, Exton Street, Holmes Terrace, Pear Place, Sandell Street The Cut and Baylis Road. However, alternative routes into these roads will be provided.
A section of Baylis Road from Waterloo Road to Spur Road will be closed in both directions on the evening of Friday 19th March.
It is inevitable that this will cause some disruption, so remember to take extra time for your journey. If you are experiencing considerable disruption outside of your business, please let us know and we will do what we can to help.
