| Waterloo Quarter BID wins Best Green Business! |

Waterloo Quarter BID is delighted to have received the title of 'Best Green Business' at the 2010 Lambeth Business Awards. The BID was awarded the accolade, fighting off tough competition, for its work to introduce a range of recycling and waste collection services to the businesses in the Waterloo area. 
 The Recycle at Work scheme was launched in September 2008 with a weekly mixed paper and cardboard collection. Since then, new waste streams including plastics, cans and glass have been added, along with the introduction of a subsidised general waste collection service enabling local businesses not only to cut costs, but also to help protect the environment by going Zero-to-Landfill.
