It is not too late to appeal your new Draft Rateable Value that will apply from 1st April 2010. The new Rateable Value will last for 5 years and is based on the estimated rental value of your property on 1st April 2008 and is the basis for which your business rates are calculated.  You only have one opportunity to appeal and therefore it is important you receive good quality advice and get your assessment checked.
