Last March, over 80 employees from businesses in Waterloo took part in the Childhood First charity abseil at Capital Tower. This year, Childhood First are organising a charity sky dive and are looking for thrill seekers who would like to take part.
The event will take place on Sunday 21 February 2010 at Brackely airfield 15 miles north of Oxford. This will be a 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump and is sure to be an exhilarating experience.
Childhood First ask you to raise a minimum of £395 in sponsorship money in order for you to jump for free and in turn they will receive an average donation of £140. In addition to this, every extra pound that you raise over the minimum goes straight to Childhood First.
The funds raised will go towards their work helping children with severe emotional and behavioral disturbance for whom Childhood First often represents their last chance of developing to their true potential. For more information on their work, please visit www.childhoodfirst.org.uk.
