FREE customer parking is available for up to 30 minutes along the full length of Lower Marsh in the existing parking bays. In addition, new Pay & Display bays are being installed on Upper Marsh and outside Cubana bar & restaurant for those requiring longer than 30 minutes in the area. Saturday restrictions will also end at 1pm.

Kennington Road will shortly have its loading restrictions amended on the bus lane by the parade of shops near Lambeth North tube station as follows: Monday-Friday; 7am-10am and 4pm-7pm, with a maximum waiting time of 30 minutes to apply from Monday-Saturday. This will be implemented by the end of January 2010 following a lengthy review of the bus lanes along Kennington Road initiated by Waterloo Quarter. It is hoped that this will assist the operations of ground-level businesses, whose ability to load and unload from their premises has been severely hampered by the existing arrangements.

A new Pay & Display parking area has been introduced by Network Rail on Spur Road next to Waterloo Station, conveniently sited for visitors to Waterloo. Lambeth Council has committed to undertake a review of any further parking issues in the Waterloo area of the borough. They are inviting local businesses that may require a loading bay or parking provision near their premises to come forward with suggestions that can be considered as part of a review of the wider area.
