A National Retail Crime Steering Group has been formed with representatives from both large chains and sm aller retail associations, the Government alongside other businesses, trade unions and trade assoc iations to find effective solutions and responses to the issue of crime against businesses. A Retail Crime Action Plan has been published to help identify the type of crimes that small businesses face and what efforts have been taken to address them, this can be viewed at www.homeoffice.gov.uk/documents/retail-crime-action-plan.
