div> Waterloo Quarters first Food Festival in June was a chance for local employees and residents to enjoy the gastronomic delights that many of the delicious eateries on their doorstep have to offer.
Three days of festivities began on Monday 22 June till Wednesday 24 June with 17 local businesses taking part offering a range of special dishes and freebies. It was not only restaurants, cafes and bars that took part in the festival; other local organisations chose to get involved. Joanna Primary school’s cookery club made flap jacks using locally sourced ingredients, whilst Waterloo Body Station held a prize draw competition to give away a basket of chocolate beauty products.
“We were pleased to be involved with the Waterloo Quarter food festival, it helped to raise our profile locally and we got some new customers through the door.” Giovanni Salomone Paradiso (The Cut)
If your business would like to get involved next year please contact Kate Vinall at kvinall@waterlooquarter.org or 020 7620 1201 to register your interest.
