 The Waterloo Summer Series has now finished for another year and again has proved a popular evening among local workers and residents. Every Wednesday in June a different local business sponsored an event from 5pm – 7pm bringing a variety of sounds and tastes to Emma Cons Gardens.
This year’s events were sponsored by Greensmiths (Lower Marsh) who provided folk entertainment whilst serving a selection of food from their traditional local supermarket store. Stage Door Pub & Kitchen (Webber Street) had a selection of live bands and a BBQ. Meson don Felipe (The Cut) sponsored the third evening with flamenco dancing and live music serving a selection of Tapas. Finally Cubana (Lower Marsh) closed the series with a Cuban band that had people dancing in the street along with cocktails and a Cuban BBQ.
The Music Series was a great success not only for the hundreds of people who enjoyed the evenings but also for the businesses who participated in it by raising their business profiles.
