Mission IsPossible
Waterloo charity Fairbridge, based on Waterloo Road, has developed Mission IsPossible, a high-impact, unique challenge that brings the business world and the community together for a mutually beneficial development experience.
You and your team will benefit from a range of activities designed to develop key competencies including; finding solutions, communication, planning, and the all essential team building element. Not only will MISSION IsPOSSIBLE develop your staff, but by submitting a team you will be also be enhancing the capabilities of young people from some of the most disadvantaged areas in the capital.
Your Mission…. In order to prevent a disaster of national scale from occurring, your team must complete a range of tasks and solve cryptic clues to save the day. Time is of the essence as agents from 12 other nations are also on the case, and it is uncertain as to their intentions. Mission details cannot be revealed at this stage, however past challenges have incorporated obstacle courses, climbing courses and tackling lateral thinking problems. Help Us Help You…. Fairbridge works with over 3,700 young people each year, who are not in education, training or employment. Through their centres based in 15 of the most deprived areas in the UK, they help them build their self-esteem, confidence and motivation by providing them with the support, skills and opportunities they need to rebuild their lives. Through your involvement in Mission IsPossible you will help Fairbridge expand their positive impact on young people by allowing them to impact positively on you and your organisation. “Knowing about the techniques Fairbridge uses with young people, we realised they would make for a fantastic team building event, and we were looking for something different to stretch us, get us working together as a team and to have some fun. We weren’t disappointed!” Andrew Tummon, Regional Learning and Development Manager, RBS Retail Learning and Development.
