| Businesses sign up to new recycling scheme |

Businesses in the BID area are expanding their green credentials by signing up to the next phase of Waterloo Quarter's business recycling scheme.
As well as recycling paper and cardboard, businesses can now recycle plastic bottles and cans. In just two weeks since the start of this new phase over 70 businesses have signed up to take part, with over 130 already recycling paper and cardboard.
 It is important to note that not all plastics can be recycled. We can only collect plastic bottles such as milk bottles, washing up bottles and soft drink bottles. We cannot collect yoghurt and butter pots, microwave meal trays or plastic film and these should not be put in your recycling sacks, as this could result in your recycling not being collected.Would you like to help educate your business or team about recycling at work?
