A new local supermarket with a difference is opening on 1st December 2008 on Lower Marsh. Greensmiths will feature fresh produce including a butcher's, a baker's, a greengrocer's, a coffee specialist and a wine merchant's, as well as other daily food needs that you would expect to find in the supermarket. There will also be a café/takeaway serving food and drink prepared with the fresh ingredients available in store.
 Greensmiths is located in the spectacularly refurbished 27 Lower Marsh, featuring individual counters for each supplier, alongside the café area.
