We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our recycling scheme to include plastic bottles and cans, in addition to the mixed paper and card collection.

 

Since its launch in September the recycling scheme has become a great success with over 130 BID businesses now signed up to recycle their mixed paper and cardboard. As a result we are introducing a plastic bottles and cans collection which will conveniently take place at the same time as the paper and card collection time, every Tuesday between 3pm and 5pm. The expanded scheme takes Waterloo Quarter a step forward in its environmental aims and saves local businesses money and hassle of arranging individual collections.

 

Plastic bottles and cans will be collected in the new green Waterloo Quarter branded sacks. These sacks will be distributed to all businesses already participating in the paper and cardboard scheme over forthcoming weeks.
