| Flooding in Lower Marsh Plaza |

The flooding problems on Lower Marsh Plaza at the eastern end of Lower Marsh look set to be coming to an end with a schedule for remedial works now finalised by Lambeth Council.
The Council have booked in contractors to follow on behind Thames Water while they carry out their current works to the water main that runs through the car park. The kerb will be dropped completely to prevent the pooling which currently occurs behind the raised kerb.
The work is due to start on Wednesday 28th May, although this may realistically be delayed for a couple of days if Thames Water come up against any problems with the water mains work. The contractors are aiming to maintain the access in and out of the car park while the works take place.
