This year's Wizard of Oz themed carnival will take place on Friday 11th July in and around Lower Marsh. In addition to the carnival procession of members of the local community, there will be a range of family friendly activity during the day and an Emerald-City themed cabaret stage in the evening.
Members of the Waterloo business community are invited to a launch event for the 2008 Carnival on Wednesday 21st May at the BFI Southbank from 6-8pm. This will be an opportunity to hear more about the programme, arrange volunteering opportunities for your staff and promote your business via sponsorship of the event or participating in themed 'window dressing' displays. Get a sneak preview of some of this year's costumes, produced by Mandinga Arts, and enjoy a drink with fellow businesses and members of the community courtesy of the BFI Southbank.
