| The Future Of Waterloo? |
A new report which calls for better routes through and exits south from Waterloo Station to the BID area was launched at a breakfast event at The Young Vic. The report - Waterloo: A Vision and Plan for the Waterloo Quarter BID Area - was commisioned from the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment. It will be used in discussions with prospective developers, Network Rail bosses and other interested parties to ensure new developments in Waterloo bring maximum benefit to the area. It advocates reconnectiong Lower Marsh with The Cut through innovative public realm works as well as shorter term measures to improve the look of Waterloo such as shopfront improvements. Yair Ginor from Elizabeth House developers Chelsfield also showed the latest images of what their proposed new office developments would look like (pictured).
