The National Theatre Studios has submitted a planning application for a three storey annex to its property on The Cut.

The annex would house a workshop for Handspring UK – an off shoot of the puppeteers who created War Horse - and two floors of office space.

The application can be found on the Lambeth Council planning website, application 11/04013/FUL.

A decision on whether to grant permission for the annex is expected to be made by early February.
