Describe the company in one sentence? AKT Productions is the UK’s premier provider of theatre-based learning resources, designing and delivering learning and development solutions for the world’s greatest organisations for the past 15 years.

When did you move to Waterloo? December 2011

Why did you choose Waterloo as a base? Having been based in Mayfair for the past 15 years the landlords finally decided to redevelop the building and we found ourselves looking for new premises. We wanted somewhere central and convenient and with the Jubilee Line fitting the bill for most of the staff we narrowed it down to Waterloo or London Bridge. Waterloo won as we found a lovely space to work in and were all excited about being in such a vibrant area with great theatres on the doorstep.

Who are your clients? Our clients range from Government departments to accountancy firms, energy generators, construction firms  and manufacturers. We are very active in behavioural safety and are currently working in the UK, North America and the Far East with clients such as EDF, Shell, Rolls Royce and BG Group.

What are your plans for the next 12 months? We are delighted to have moved into our new office in Waterloo and we are looking forward to building relationships with local businesses, suppliers, theatres and bars! In challenging economic conditions we are hoping to strengthen our existing links with clients and seeking new opportunities to widen our training offerings.

What’s the key to being successful in business? Hard work, a dedicated team and a bit of luck! But crucially every single piece of work we do for a client is treated as the most important job we’ve ever had. We never compromise on the quality of the work we deliver.
