Shell Site Development Consultation

Waterloo Quarter businesses have been invited to join "walk and talk" sessions which will help to shape the future of the Shell site north of Waterloo Station.

Proposals are being developed for a mixed-use redevelopment of the site, which is likely to include offices, residential and retail elements.

Soundings have been appointed as an impartial part of the redevelopment masterplanning team to ensure the thoughts and views of local businesses, residents and cultural institutions are taken into account by the redevelopment.

As part of the "Shell Centre Dialogue" Soundings will be running 90 minute walk and talks around the site to collect peoples views about the area.

A walk and talk for businesses will run from 4.30pm - 6pm on Thursday, January 12th.

A walk and talk for cultural organisations will run from 3pm - 4.30pm on Friday, January 13th.

The walk and talks will start at the former Shell reception on York Road.

They will be followed by liaison group meetings of key stakeholders, public workshops and exhibitions before a planning application is submitted. The application is expected to be submitted in the winter of this year.

Those interested in participating in a walk and talk should sign up with Caf Fean or Savitri Lopez Negrete by calling 020 7729 1705 or by emailing shellcentredialogue@soundingsoffice.com
