The Tool Shop has won gold in Britain's Best Tool Retailer awards.
The shop operates in two Waterloo locations and has eight other stores across London.
It picked up the DIY week award on November 24th.
A Tool Shop spokesperson said: "The evening was a great success and shows that The Tool Shop business is a serious contender in today's DIY market."

Waterloo Quarter has committed to extra promotion of retailers in the area in February next year.
The BID will prepare a discount booklet and is inviting shop owners from across the district to submit a special offer. The offers will be publicised to thousands of people locally and online.
A networking and advice workshop on issues affecting retailers will also be held.
