A new employment co-ordinator will help SE1 businesses fill their vacant positions with local employees free of charge.

Rutie Mupfurutsa has been appointed as the co-ordinator of Employ SE1 by Waterloo Quarter and fellow Business Improvement Districts Better Bankside and Team London Bridge.

Rutie said: "My focus over the next few weeks is to help businesses become aware of our service. It is a great service and every business in SE1 should take advantage of it.”

Employ SE1 allows employers to register and post vacancies on the website www.employ-se1.co.uk free of charge, before registered agencies can log in and send them appropriate candidates.

The website is an excellent filter service, as the agencies only send over candidates that meet the employers' requirements, saving local businesses both time and money.
